District 31 4A
Calallen 55 Ray 20–
Ray (7-3, 4-2) had a chance to upset Calallen (9-1, 6-0) and create a three-way tie at top of this district. Early on, the Texans jumped out to a 7-0, but after that it was all Calallen. RB Buddy Wright scored three TDs and rushed for over 200 yards in the 1st. Backup QB Preston Dorsey scored on an 85-yard and 4-yard run in the 2nd half. The Wildcats won going away and winning the district championship.
Flour Bluff 63 Tuloso-Midway 31–
Flour Bluff (5-5, 3-3) beat up on Tuloso-Midway (2-8, 1-5) and clinched the fourth and final spot in the district.
Alice 42 Kingsville 21
Alice (7-3, 5-1) clinched second place in the district with a victory over winless Kingsville (0-10, 0-6).
District 30 4A
Victoria East 48 Victoria West 21
The Beast of the East AKA the Victoria East Titans ran all over Victoria West in the first game ever between these these city rivals. The Titans claimed the Boot Trophy, which is given to the winner of this city battle, and won the district championship. Many of these players were teammates a year ago when they played for Victoria Memorial, but this year they were foes. East behind the running of Roderick Warren who scored 5 tds in the 1st half and ran for 165 yards. The Titans jumped out to a 35-0 lead before winning the game in front of more than 15,000 fans, an all-time record at Memorial Stadium in Victoria.
Gregory-Portland 21 Beeville 6
Gregory Portland(8-2, 3-2) struggled with Beeville (3-7, 1-4) in the 1st half, but put away the Trojans in the 2nd half to ensure a 3rd place finish in the district.
Calhoun 33 Floresville 7
Port Lavaca Calhoun (7-3, 4-1) cemeneted its second place finish by getting out to a 33-0 over Floresville (4-6, 0-5). Floresville scored late but remain winless in the district play to end the season.
