HIDALGO–Federal authorities seized more than $750,000 worth of cocaine at the Hidalgo Border crossing on Thursday.
Customs and Border Protection officers stopped a car with an 18-year-old driver heading northbound into the United States at port of entry. After a search, they found 10 packages of cocaines inside the Ford F-150.
Authorities said the cocaine weighed about 23.5 pounds and it’s street value is estimated to be worth about $754,000.
The Georgia driver was turned over to Immigration and Enforcement investgators and they’ll decide what charges she will face.
