CORPUS CHRISTI–A San Antonio construction company has been awarded the contract to build two new Wal-Mart Supercenters in Corpus Christi.
The sites will be located on Staples Street at the old Parkdale Plaza location and at Cimarron and Saratoga Blvd. It’s expected to bring more than 400 jobs to those two locations.
S & P Construction has started work this month. They hope to have the stores built within a year.
We want to deliver the highest level of quality that is within schedule and within budget,” said David Nordin of S &P Construction. “S&P has constructed many Walmart stores, and we fully expect to meet Walmart’s expectations as we have done so many times before.”
The location at the Parkdale Plaza will be 182,000 square feet, while the second location will be 150,000 square feet.
