WASHINGTON DC–Selena Quintanilla, the Tejano star from Corpus Christi, will be honored next year when a stamp will be made in her honor.
Selena, who died tragically in 1995 when the President of her Fan Club shot her to death, will be one of five Latin American Pop icons, honored with stamps next year.
The others are Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Carmen Miranda and Carlos Gardel.
If you want to check out the stamps, go to www.usps.com. The stamp will go on sale in March of next year.
