CORPUS CHRISTI–A nationally renown recording artist who has played for the Pope will be performing on Saturday afternoon at a Catholic conference on Stewardship.
David Kaufman, a songwriter, composer, recording artist and music producer, produces music that is good for the soul. He performed for the Pope at the World Youth Day in Paris and is involved with a ministry aimed at embracing God in everyday life.
He will be performing at the Corpus Christi Diocese Ministries Day Conference.
More than 900 attendees are expected at the annual conference of stewardship. The theme of the two-day event is strengthening parish life.
The Most Rev. Bishop of Corpus Christi Michael Mulvey addressed the audience in the morning talking about the importance of stewardship to the Catholic Church.
The Bishop also presided over a mass on Friday night at the Corpus Christi Cathedral for the conference attendees.
