Police arrested Daniel Jimenez, 20, shortly after a woman reported he had burglarized items from her home, which was under construction on Wednesday.

Officers found Jimenez walking with a lawnmower  in the area and he matched a description of man wanted for questioning.

So they began asking questions and his answers didn’t add up. The burglary victim positively identified Jimenez as the person she saw leaving the home under construction.

Afterwards, investigators were able to tie the young man to four other burglaries in the area. He was arrested for five burglaries and booked into the city jail.

A 15-year-old girl was with Jimenez at the time of his arrest. There is no word if she was involved with Jimenez and his crime spree, but she was taken to the juvenile detention center in Cameron County.
