Gregory Police Chief Accused in Vandalism Case

TAFT–The Gregory Police Chief turned himself in to authorities after an arrest warrant was issued stemming over vandalism case.

Joseph Roberts, his wife and a third person are accused of scratching a vehicle of a neighbor in their neighborhood, causing damage to it.

The Taft Police Department worked the case and got a warrant for his arrest. The three are facing a criminal trespass charge.

Roberts came to the San Patricio County Jail and turned himself in on Wednesday. He was later released on bond.  

It’s a misdemeanor case so the San Patricio County Attorney’s Office is handling the case.
