FALFURRIAS–Border Patrol agents rescued a man near death and lost in the brush in Brooks County on Wednesday.
It happened when the Brooks County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call for a man in distress on a farm property. The agency requested the help of the Border Patrol.
Agents went to the ranch and found the man in an isolated area near Falfurrias. They report he was suffering from dehydration and slipping in and out of consciousness.
An ambulance from Brooks County was called and the man was taken to the Christus Spohn Hospital in Kingsville for observation. His condition is unknown at this time.
