CCPD Discover Drugs, Weapons and WW II Round at Burglary Call

CORPUS CHRISTI–An investigation is ongoing after Corpus Christi Police officers found guns, weapons and large amount of marijuana.

Police said they got called out to the 3400 block of Cresthill to investigate a burglary when they discovered other evidence of an illegal crime operation inside the home.

Narcotics officer got a search warrant and found two duffel bags with a large amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and scales. It’s believed to be worth $150,000 on the streets.

They also found three firearms and  two 25 mm rounds which are used to shoot at tanks in wartime. The 25 mm rounds were turned over to the Bomb Squad.

Nobody was arrested and police are trying to determine who is owner of the drugs and these weapons.
