CORPUS CHRISTI–A Corpus Christi man was involved in a domestic dispute and it turned nasty, leading to his arrest.
A 46-year-old woman said her live-in boyfriend, Carl Allgood, 47, got upset over an e-mail she received. She reported the argument escalated to an assault.
The victim reports Allgood started spitting and pouring beer on her. She tried to get away, but she said Allgood pulled her hair and smashed her finger. The victim hit her boyfriend in defense during this altercation.
Officers arrested Allgood. He started yelling and spitting at the officers and they had to use pepper spray. He resisted so officers used more pepper spray.
