CORPUS CHRISTI–Two men were arrested early on Monday morning for taking several cases of soft drinks and water from a convenience store in Corpus Christi.
Christopher Gonzalez and Lionel Sauceda, who are both 40, were arrested and charged with theft.
Officers went to the 4700 block of South Alameda after a convenience store clerk reported a suspicious vehicle. It was believed to have been involved with a beer run from the night before.
Officers said the description of the truck that had been used in a theft of Coke products at a Stripes Convenience store on the 4700 block of SPID.
The truck was found in the area and officers pulled it over. Inside the vehicle, they discovered 23 cases of Coke and six cases of water. The value of the merchandise was more than $100.
