CORPUS CHRISTI–Authorities said a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in Corpus Christi in the city’s first homicide of the year.
Around 3 am on Tuesday morning, officers were called to 3730 Lincoln Street for a shooting call in which a male had been shot in the chest.
Upon their arrival, officers found James Roy Ross, 17, unresponsive. He was transported to Christus Spohn Memorial Medical Center. Ross was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
