CCPD Looking for Suspect in Crime

CORPUS CHRISTI–A man holds a woman and her young daughter at gun point, bounds them, while he goes through their apartment, then leaves without hurting them in Corpus Christi.

Officers came to the Paradise Bay Apartments on the 5900 block of Weber Road around 5 am Thursday morning.

They found Michelle Espinosa and Josephine Ramirez, 7, bound with duct tape and they were force to lie down after a man entered their home.

Espinosa reported her mother had just left for work and about a minute later, she heard a knock on the door. She opened the door because she thought it was her mother.

Instead she reported she saw a Black male, 5’ 8” to 5’ 11”, 240 – 300 lbs., dressed all in black holding a duffel bag and a pistol. The suspect forced his way into the apartment and held Michelle at gunpoint.

The man told her to be quiet and threatened to shoot her and her
daughter if she yelled.

The man searched the kitchen cabinets and the hall closet
and left  the apartment. The victim stated it did not appear anything was missing. No injuries were reported.
