WASHINGTON DC–Selena is one of among five Latin music legends honored in special collective stamps that went on sale last Wednesday.
Selena, who died tragically in 1995 when the President of her Fan Club shot her to death, will be one of five Latin American Pop icons, honored with stamps next year.
Ironically, the sale of this stamp nearly marks the 16th anniversary of the legendary Tejano star who was killed in Corpus Christi.
The others honored with stamps are all legends too. They are Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Carmen Miranda and Carlos Gardel.
