Vandals Damage World War II Headstones

CORPUS CHRISTI–Some people deliberately destroyed several World War II headstones at a Corpus Christi cemetery.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the people responsible for the vandalism at Rose Hill Cemetery.

A worker at the cemetery contacted police on Monday around midday to say they found the damaged headstones.

He told officers the first headstone was knocked over and used to destroy the others. The damage was estimated at $10,000.00.
