CCPD Arrest Suspect and Victim on Call

CORPUS CHRISTI–Police arrested an auto burglary suspect Friday morning then take the victim into custody when they determine he has an outstanding warrant.

Police arrived on the 4500 block of Ayers where two people were holding down 17-year-old Aaron Gonzales.

They claim broke into a Mitsubishi Montero and was making a lot of noise, waking them up. Officers said Gonzales took $7.50 and an auto stereo.

When Gonzales was caught in the act, he offered to give them back the burglary items, if they would let him go.

They didn’t and held him until police arrived so they could arrest the teen. Gonzales was charged on an auto burglary charge.

While interviewing the victim, they found out Joe Martinez, 32, had an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was taken to the city jail and held without bond.
