Rockport Man Turns Himself In For Fraud Case

ROCKPORT–A man wanted in a real estate fraud scheme in the Coastal Bend has turned himself into authorities today.

Louis Sleeper Robinson III came to the Rockport Police Department in regards to an outstanding warrant for Felony Theft over 20,000 but less than 100,000.

The warrant was issued by JP pct. 2 Judge Dianna McGinnis in last October. The suspect had been in a Houston area hospital during that time.

Robinson was being sought by Police Investigators in reference to a real estate fraud scheme involving rental property here in Rockport.

Robinson did not provide a statement to investigators through the advice of his attorney Jimmy Granbury.

Robinson was booked and released on a $25,000 bond.
