BROWNSVILLE–Two Brownsville men believed to be drunk were found in the same area of the stabbing and taken into custody early Friday morning,
Police were called to the 3100 block of E. 14th Street for a stabbing victim. The man was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
The stabbing victim told officers the people who stabbed him after a fight and one of them stabbed him.
They found Octavio Hernandez on the `1400 block of Coolidge with blood stained clothes, while Daniel de la Cruz was found causing a disturbance on the 3800 block of International Blvd.
They both were taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
A judge set bond for de la Cruz at $75,000 and bail for Hernandez was set at $50,000.
