Mission Man Arrested for Smuggling Cocaine

CBP Officers Find 32 Pounds of Cocaine

PHARR–Federal officers report a Mission man gets caught last Monday trying to smuggle in more than a million dollars worth of cocaine at a Rio Grande Valley international bridge.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Pharr/Reynosa International Bridge seized over 32 pounds of cocaine

The 54-year-old man came to the Pharr International Bridge and was stopped by CBP officers.

Officers found 23 packages of cocaine hidden in the Chevrolet Tahoe. It weighed out to about 32 pounds of cocaine. The legal permanent resident was taken into custody.
