Officials report the baby still had her umbilical cord attached and was born within 6 to 8 hours before she was found.
The newborn baby taken to Christius Spohn Hospital and named Baby Angel. Hospital officials report the baby is in good condition and is healthy.
Alice Police Chief Danny Bueno said they want to know who dropped off the newborn so they can find out about the child’s medical history.He said the mother isn;t in trouble.
