IDEA School Groundbreaking for Riverview Campus in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE–IDEA School leaders announced at a groundbreaking ceremony in downtown Brownsville that they are opening up two more campuses.

Riverview Campus

The school will be known as Riverview Campus and it will be a elementary and secondary school for IDEA. This will be the fifth and sixth campus in the Rio Grande Valley for IDEA.

Rollins Koppel, pictured on right, donated land for IDEA School in Brownsville

20 acres of land near Amigoland Mall on Palm Blvd. was donated to IDEA Schools by University Park, LTD, headed by the Rollins Family. The school will be built in the next six months.

IDEA School leaders said they are graduating more students and getting them to go to college than the public schools. They explained their teaching motto, parental involvement and attitude of the students is to credit for their success. They have a long waiting list of students wanting to get into their schools.
